What you'll need
- 2 ounces Stonestreet Bourbon
- 8 mint leaves
- 3/4 ounce fortified mint syrup
- 1/4 ounce Italicus Bergamot Liqueur
- Crushed ice
- Mint sprig for garnish
- Powdered sugar
How to make it
- In a Boston shaker, lightly muddle the mint leaves with the syrup.
- Add the bourbon and Italicus liqueur, then give it a short wet shake with ice. Strain the mixture over crushed ice in a Julep cup using a Hawthorne strainer.
- Top with more crushed ice to form an ice dome, and garnish with a mint sprig and a dusting of powdered sugar.
