Stonestreet Bourbon’s wheat-forward mash bill perfectly complements the invigorating burst of fresh mint and bright bergamot citrus, creating a crisp, refreshing cocktail for those who appreciate nuanced bourbon indulgence. It's a modern take on a timeless classic.

What you'll need

  • 2 ounces Stonestreet Bourbon 
  • 8 mint leaves 
  • 3/4 ounce fortified mint syrup 
  • 1/4 ounce Italicus Bergamot Liqueur 
  • Crushed ice 
  • Mint sprig for garnish 
  • Powdered sugar 

How to make it

  1. In a Boston shaker, lightly muddle the mint leaves with the syrup. 
  2. Add the bourbon and Italicus liqueur, then give it a short wet shake with ice. Strain the mixture over crushed ice in a Julep cup using a Hawthorne strainer. 
  3. Top with more crushed ice to form an ice dome, and garnish with a mint sprig and a dusting of powdered sugar.

Mint Sprig Garnish

Firmly slap the mint sprig on the back of your hand before garnishing; this releases the oils to make the mint more aromatic.
