Stonestreet Bourbon adds smooth, forward momentum, Aperol and Amaro counterbalance with a touch of bitterness, and fresh lemon provides lift. A simple yet indulgent cocktail.
What you'll need
- 1 ounce Stonestreet Bourbon
- 1 ounce Aperol
- 1 ounce Amaro Nonino
- ¾ ounce fresh lemon juice
- Cut lemon swath
How to make it
- In a Boston shaker, combine all ingredients.
- Wet shake vigorously with ice, then double strain the mixture into a coupe glass.
- Gently express the lemon swath over the drink to release its aromatic oils.
- Run the lemon swath around the rim of the glass and down the stem for an added citrus essence.
- Place the expressed lemon swath on the glass rim as an elegant finishing touch.
LEMON SWATH GARNISH
Use an Ostehøvel cheese peeler to create a rectangular lemon swath. Drape it over the glass to add aromatic, flavorful, and visual flare to the cocktail.
